2. Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibility….in the final analysis, the quality that all successful people have is the ability to take on responsibility.
3. A man skilled at his work will serve before kings. He will not serve before obscure men.
4. He who walks with the wise grow wise but a companion of fools suffers harm.
5. He that hastens to be rich has an evil eye and considers not that poverty shall come upon him.
6. A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge but the simple keep going after it.
7. Plans fail for lack of counsel but with many advisers, they succeed. He that won’t be counseled can’t be helped.
8. He who trusts in himself is a fool but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.
9. No man is so foolish but he may sometimes give another good counsel, and no man so wise that he may not easily err if he takes no other counsel than his own. He that is taught only by himself has a fool for a master.
10. Seek ye counsel of the aged for their eyes have looked on the faces of the years and their ears have hardened to the voice of life. Even if their counsel is displeasing to you, pay heed to them.
